Love the way you structure these posts it’s very powerful and refreshing!

I got the “it’s ok to change” and felt very serendipitous ✨ can’t believe the comment you got…. Everyone changes! Change is fantastic, it means we’re growing and evolving 🥰

Love that your choice was serendipitous! As always, thank you for the support and encouragement! I’m so grateful to be seen by you.

And right?! lol the audacity of some people. As I heal, I think “it’s no wonder why I’m so anxious and neurotic about what other people think and say of me!” 😅 slowly but surely working through unlearning this!

I'm grateful the universe put you on my path so you can continue to remind me that I am enough. If the US has a culture, it's that we are "never enough," so we keep trying to get the nicer house, the better car, the perfect spouse, the smartest kids, etc. It's a lot of wasted energy on external benchmarks that say nothing about the true value of our lives.

You are enough, my love!! And I feel so honored to be able to reflect that back to you! And so much messaging telling us we’re not enough! I have to remind myself that of course they’re pushing that… it helps increase their bottom lines 😅🥸 lol we’ll just keep reminding each other that we are enough!! 😘😘

Hi Steph! I love the messages throughout your post. I got the "rest" card and I actually got a similar message yesterday. The universe always keeps giving me the same cards until I actually do something about it 😅 The part where you explained how the body biologically wants and needs rest to function optimally was something I needed to be reminded of today. Thank you so much for sharing your insights and stories! 🙏💚

Hello my friend ! I’m so happy you received an aligned message. The Universe knows how to find us when we might not be listening 🙊 speaking from personal experience 😅😅

I hope you have pockets of rest lined up this week 🥰 sending all my love and hugs! Thank you for being here! Grateful for you 🩷

I love your card concept, Steph! You'll already know I resonate with your thoughts and insights!

It's taken several loop-the-loops to form my personal definitions of success, given our cultural heritage, my corporate conditioning and then re-evaluation as an eldercarer. I'm deeply grateful for Mindfulness, journalling, mentors and teachers and the work of Brené Brown, Susan David, Lucy Hone and Megan Devine. Wholehearted living is a practice and sometimes seismic journey!

So grateful for you, Victoria! I’m inspired by your openness and willingness to share!! And I’m celebrating you for choosing YOU and discovering what your personal definitions of success are. I’m learning that taking back your power is a game changer!

I’m not familiar with Susan, Lucy or Megan so thank you for sharing! I’ll be checking out their work!!

Thanks, Steph! If you use the search window on my website (aka homepage) you'll find several articles based on their work in Carer Mentor. I appreciate Susan David's work just as much, perhaps even more, than Brené's because she suggests practical actions/thought processes to help us navigate our emotions. Enjoy.
